The Zeiss Milvus 100mm f/2 is a manual-focus macro lens with 1:2 magnification, requiring extension tubes for 1:1. It shares optics with the older Makro-Planar but adds weather sealing and improved coatings. Optical strengths include excellent sharpness wide open, pleasant bokeh, and highlight control, though chromatic aberration can appear at f/2.
