The Viltrox AF 20mm F2.8 is an ultra-compact, lightweight (173g) and inexpensive ($158–175) wide-angle prime, ideal for travel and hiking. Its all-plastic build feels solid, but the lens hood does not lock securely. Optically, it delivers crisp center sharpness and good contrast, but suffers from heavy vignetting at f/2.8, soft corners, and notable distortion that profiles do not fully correct. Autofocus is quiet and generally fast, though occasionally misses in low contrast.
