The Sony FE 85mm F1.8 offers outstanding sharpness at infinity, with excellent center sharpness wide open and very sharp across the frame by f/2.8. Distortion is well controlled at ~0.6% pincushion, but vignetting is visible. Build quality is surprisingly nice with a metal barrel and smooth focus ring, plus dust/moisture sealing.
