The Sony FE 12-24mm F4 G is an ultra-wide zoom lens offering exceptional corner-to-corner sharpness wide-open at f/4, especially at 12mm. However, raw distortion is very strong at 12mm, requiring correction, and corner softness is noted at wide and mid focal lengths. Build quality is solid with dust/moisture resistance, but the bulbous front element prevents screw-on filters. It is compact and lightweight for its class. Best suited for landscape, interior, and architectural photographers needing extreme wide angles.
