The Sony 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 G SSM is a high-end telephoto zoom with excellent build quality and smooth controls. Optically, it delivers nice bokeh and low vignetting, but distortion is not fully corrected despite in-camera processing. Autofocus is silent but only fair in speed, occasionally hunting.
