The Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS | Sports lens offers excellent build quality with metal construction and weather sealing. Optically, it delivers strong central sharpness at f/2.8, with corner sharpness improving on stopping down. Flare and ghosting are well-controlled, but RAW vignetting is high at f/2.8 and pincushion distortion increases through the zoom range. The autofocus is fast and near-silent, and the optical stabilizer is rated at 7.5 stops. The zoom ring placement near the front is awkward, especially with the hood reversed.
