Overview

The Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG DN Art is a well-built, compact lens for mirrorless, with dust/splash resistance and a de-clickable aperture ring. Optically, it shows mild barrel distortion and high vignetting at f/1.4, but auto-correction helps. Center sharpness is very good at f/1.4, though corners are soft; stopping to f/2.8–f/8 yields excellent center and good borders. Autofocus is snappy and quiet. It suits astrophotography, landscapes, and events, offering a more affordable alternative to the Sony GM.
