Overview

The Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 DG OS HSM | Sports delivers excellent image quality wide open and is the only zoom offering f/2.8 beyond 200mm. However, it is essentially the same optics as its predecessor, with identical stabilization, but heavier and more expensive. Build is solid and weather-sealed, with smooth focus/zoom, but handling is poor for Nikon shooters due to weight distribution. It suits sports/action photographers needing a fast telephoto zoom, though the predecessor may be a better value.
