    Overview

    The Samyang MF 14mm F2.8 RF (also sold as Rokinon) is a manual-focus ultra-wide lens for Canon RF mount. Optically, it delivers excellent sharpness and gorgeous colors, but shows heavy barrel distortion (~3.8%) and high vignetting at f/2.8. Build quality is improved with a metal barrel and rubberized focus ring, though weather sealing is minimal. It lacks front filter threads. The lens suits landscape, interior, and architecture photographers who prefer manual focus and want an affordable wide-angle option.
