The Samyang AF 85mm F1.4 FE offers excellent value at ~$550-600, with very good sharpness at medium apertures but somewhat mediocre center resolution wide open. It produces minimal distortion (~0.2%) and high vignetting at f/1.4 (2.8EV) that improves with stopping down. Build is sturdy with metal construction and weather sealing, though the focus ring is slippery and there is no AF/MF switch.
