The Samyang AF 50mm F1.4 FE offers excellent value at around $500-600, with very good build quality using metal construction. Optically, it delivers very good center sharpness at f/1.4, but borders and corners are soft until f/4, with best performance at f/5.6. Vignetting is heavy wide open but correctable.
