The Samyang AF 35mm F1.4 P offers excellent center sharpness at f/1.4 and good value, but suffers from noticeable purple lateral chromatic aberrations and some longitudinal CA. Bokeh is middling with onion rings and soap bubble effects. Build is lightweight and weather-sealed, though plasticky, with no manual focus switch or buttons. Autofocus is quick and quiet. It suits Sony E-mount users seeking an affordable fast prime, but those prioritizing bokeh quality may look elsewhere.
