The Samyang AF 135mm F1.8 FE offers excellent sharpness and beautiful bokeh at a fraction of the Sony GM's price. It is the lightest 135mm f/1.8 lens at 772g, with good build quality using lightweight plastics and weather-sealing. Autofocus is reasonably fast but not ideal for sports, with some accuracy issues in lab tests but generally reliable in the field. Distortion and chromatic aberration are well controlled, and vignetting is typical for the class.
