Overview

The Samsung NX 50-200mm F4-5.6 OIS is a telephoto kit lens for the Samsung NX system, built mostly from polycarbonate with a solid metal mount. Optically, it delivers good center sharpness and low distortion, especially at wider focal lengths, but edge sharpness drops at 200mm and chromatic aberration is visible in RAW files. The lens features smooth zooming up to ~135mm, then some binding. OIS provides 3-5 stops of stabilization. It suits NX system users seeking an affordable telephoto zoom, though newer lenses have surpassed it.
