The Samsung NX 12-24mm F4-5.6 ED is a compact, lightweight ultra-wide zoom (208g, 58mm filter) with solid build—plastic barrel, metal mount, and included hood. Optically, it delivers high center sharpness, especially at 12mm, but corners are softer and chromatic aberration can be problematic. Vignetting and distortion are well-controlled, though RAW files show barrel distortion at wide end. Autofocus is quick and manual focus ring is smooth.
