Overview

The Pentax 01 Standard Prime is a tiny 36g lens for Pentax Q cameras, offering excellent center sharpness from f/1.9 to f/4 and very good edges, with peak at f/2.8. Chromatic aberration is low centrally but some fringing at edges. Build quality is good with an alloy barrel and plastic internals. Depth of field is limited due to the small sensor, making object isolation challenging. It suits users prioritizing extreme portability over shallow depth-of-field, such as concert-goers or travel photographers.
