The Olympus Body Cap Lens 15mm F8 is an ultra-compact, fixed-aperture manual-focus lens (9mm thick, 22g) for Micro Four Thirds. Optically, it offers decent center sharpness but suffers from soft edges, low contrast, chromatic aberration, and vignetting. Its fixed f/8 aperture provides immense depth of field, but the hyperfocal click-stop may be inaccurate. Build is all-plastic with a flimsy focusing lever and no electrical contacts, requiring manual focal length input for IS. It suits street photographers or those wanting a tiny body cap that can take quick, moody shots, but most users are better served by a kit zoom or Panasonic 14mm f/2.5.
