    Overview

    The Nikon Z DX 18-140mm f/3.5-6.3 VR is a lightweight (315g), compact superzoom offering 27-210mm equivalent range. Optically, it delivers good to excellent sharpness across the zoom range, with outstanding central sharpness at 18mm and well-controlled chromatic aberration and flare. However, distortion and vignetting are substantial at 18mm without corrections. Build quality is plastic with a plastic mount, but it includes dust/moisture sealing. It suits photographers wanting a single do-it-all travel lens, though the two-lens 16-50mm + 50-250mm kit offers better optics and value.
