The Nikon 24mm F1.8G ED is a compact, lightweight wide-angle prime with solid build quality, featuring a plastic barrel and a rubber gasket at the mount for basic weather sealing. Optically, it delivers excellent center sharpness wide open, with corners sharpening by f/4-f/5.6, but exhibits noticeable vignetting and chromatic aberration, especially wide open.
