The Nikon AF Micro-Nikkor 200mm f/4D ED-IF is a classic macro lens praised for its excellent working distance (about 26 cm at 1:1) and best-in-class control of vignetting, chromatic aberration, and distortion. Optically, it is very sharp even wide open, though veiling flare is not as well controlled as modern coatings.
