    Overview

    The Nikon 10-20mm F4.5-5.6 VR is a compact, lightweight ultra-wide zoom for Nikon DX cameras, praised for its low price and VR. Optically, it offers good center sharpness at 10mm wide open but suffers from distortion, especially on full-frame. Build is mostly plastic with a plastic mount and no external switches. It suits budget-conscious DX shooters with compatible bodies (D5300 and later), but is incompatible with older DSLRs.
