Overview

The Kamlan 50mm F1.1 II is a manual-focus APS-C lens with all-metal build and smooth focus/aperture rings. Optically, it offers good center sharpness wide open and excellent bokeh with 11-blade aperture, but corners are soft at f/1.1 and chromatic aberration and flare are present. It is heavier than its predecessor at ~600g. Best suited for portrait and low-light photographers on a budget who prioritize speed and character over absolute sharpness.
