Overview

The Hasselblad XCD 90mm F2.5 V is a lightweight, compact short telephoto lens with excellent build quality and handling. Optically, it delivers outstanding sharpness wide-open in the center, with some corner softness and vignetting at f/2.5 that clear up by f/4. Bokeh is smooth with clean highlights, and flare, distortion, and chromatic aberration are very well controlled. The leaf shutter is somewhat loud. It suits portrait, landscape, and walk-around use, but its high price ($4,299+) and limited availability are notable drawbacks.
