It delivers superb center sharpness across the zoom range, but exhibits moderate to strong barrel distortion at 10mm and pincushion at 24mm, along with vignetting at f/4 without corrections. The build is weather-sealed and compact, though the aperture ring detents are mushy and prone to accidental shifts.
