    Overview

    The Canon EF-M 15-45mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM is a compact, retractable standard zoom for EOS M cameras, praised for its portability and light weight (130g). Optically, it delivers sharp center performance wide open, but corners are soft, improving by f/11. Its slow aperture (f/6.3 at tele) is offset by effective image stabilization (up to 3.5 stops). Build quality is all-plastic, including the mount, with a wobbly inner tube. The silent STM autofocus is quick and accurate.
