    Overview

    The Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM is an ultra-wide zoom for APS-C DSLRs, equivalent to 16-35mm full-frame. Optically, it has low distortion for its range and decent sharpness, though details can be small at wide angles. Build quality is good with a metal mount and smooth zoom ring, but not weather-sealed. Autofocus is fast and quiet with full-time manual override. It suits landscape and architectural photographers, but newer alternatives like the EF-S 10-18mm IS STM offer better optics and IS at lower cost.
