Overview

The Super Carenar MC 135mm f/2.8 is a solidly built third-party telephoto lens with good center sharpness and smooth bokeh suited for portraits. However, it suffers from poor contrast and flat, lifeless backgrounds in general scenes, requiring contrast boost in post. Handling is good with a built-in lens hood, but focusing can be tricky in bright light. It is easy to adapt to modern mirrorless cameras via M42 mount. Best for portrait and detail work, less ideal for general photography.
