Overview

The MC Soligor Tele-Auto 135mm f/2.5 is a solidly built, hefty lens (420g) with a smooth focus ring and metal hood (Bagful of Lenses). Optically, it is very soft at f/2.5 with strong chromatic aberration that is hard to correct, but sharpness improves dramatically by f/5.6. Flare resistance is good, vignetting minimal, and bokeh pleasing. Colors are vibrant across apertures. It suits portrait photographers willing to stop down to f/4 or f/5.6 for sharpness, but better alternatives exist for vintage 135mm lenses.
