    Overview

    The Minolta AF 35mm f/1.4 G RS is a groundbreaking lens, being the world's first aspherical wide-angle and rear-focusing AF lens. It offers excellent build quality and color rendering, with very nice bokeh (dyxum user niji). However, sharpness is middling wide open and becomes biting only from f/2.8 (dyxum user niji). It suits portrait photographers who value rendering over absolute sharpness at large apertures, and those using Minolta/Sony A-mount cameras.
