The Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 135mm f/3.5 is a well-built all-metal lens with smooth focusing, though its weight can cause front-heaviness and vibration issues. Optically, it is sharp at near to medium distances, especially stopped down to f/5.6-f/11, but soft at infinity and wide open. Chromatic aberrations are present in corners, and it is prone to flare despite multi-coating. Bokeh is smooth.
