    The Industar-50-2 50mm f/3.5 is a tiny, sturdy pancake lens based on the Zeiss Tessar design. On full-frame, it offers excellent center sharpness and micro-contrast but suffers from severe vignetting, soft corners, and flaring. On APS-C, these issues largely disappear, making it a capable street/travel lens. Build is metal with plastic grips; the clickless aperture ring is handy for video.
