The Carenar 55mm f/1.4 is a rebadged lens from Tomioka or Cosina, offering excellent value. Wide open it is soft, but stopped down it becomes very sharp with pleasing bokeh. The 6-blade aperture can produce unpleasing flare, so a hood is recommended.
