The Carenar 35mm f/2.8 is an inexpensive vintage lens, likely an early Samyang production (MFlenses). Build feels robust but optical quality is inconsistent, with poor resolution and possible de-centering (casualcollector). Hill & Spruce Photography notes severe veiling flare, low contrast, and tricky focusing due to lack of contrast, though mechanics are smooth. Sharpness is never high, especially in corners.
