The Novoflex Noflexar 35mm f/3.5 is a compact German-made M42 lens with solid mechanics and a unique macro capability reaching 1:2 reproduction via a pull-out barrel with click stops. Optically, it offers moderate contrast, pleasing color, and a subtle vintage look, but suffers from pronounced field curvature and unsharpness at wide apertures, making it unsuitable for flat copy work.
