The Revuenon 50 mm f/1.8 Auto is a compact, all-metal vintage lens with a very close minimum focus distance of 33 cm. Optically, it suffers from significant flare even in the multi-coated version, so older single-coated variants are best avoided unless flare is desired creatively. Build quality is good overall but tolerances can be loose, with common issues like stiff or loose focus rings. Handling is pleasant, with a long focus throw of about 320° that allows precise close-up focusing. It suits budget-conscious photographers who enjoy vintage character and close focusing, but flare sensitivity may frustrate others.
