The Canon TV-16 6 mm f/1.8 is a vintage C-mount lens designed for 16mm TV cameras. Optically, it offers very high center sharpness wide open at f/1.8 (kds315*), but exhibits vignetting on Micro Four Thirds sensors, which clears by f/5.6 (kds315*). Build quality is typical of old CCTV lenses, with a spring-mounted zoom mechanism that can appear in bokeh. It focuses to infinity, unlike many C-mount lenses. Best suited for users who can tolerate or crop vignetting, and who appreciate its unique character for video on smaller sensors.
