    The StarLens Rainbow 35 mm f/1.8 (also known as Brightin Star AF 35mm F1.8) is a budget autofocus prime for Nikon Z and Sony E mounts. Optically, it uses two ASPH elements, HOYA high refractive index lenses, and ED glass to suppress aberrations, with a Super IMC coating for contrast and flare control. The 11-blade iris aims for smooth bokeh. Build includes a metal mount, dust/splash resistance, a USB-C port, and a function button; the Sony version has a de-clicked aperture ring, while Nikon lacks one. Autofocus uses an STM motor for silent, fast operation with face/eye tracking and controlled focus breathing, suiting video. Close focus is 40 cm.
