The Schneider Kreuznach Repro Claron 210mm f/9 is a process lens designed for 1:1 reproduction, optimized for f/11-f/16. It offers excellent sharpness and contrast at these apertures, with good coverage for 4x5 and 5x7 formats. Wide open at f/9, it shows softness and lower contrast, improving significantly when stopped down. The lens is compact and lightweight, with a Copal #1 shutter. It suits macro and copy work, but not general photography due to its narrow aperture range and lack of modern coatings.
