The Zhongyi Mitakon Speedmaster 135mm f/1.4 is a rare, niche portrait lens with a unique f/1.4 aperture, offering impressive subject isolation and bokeh. Optically, it is tack sharp at the focus point wide open with beautiful background separation. However, build quality is a concern: the all-metal construction feels solid, but the focus ring on one sample detached from the helicoid, and the lens is extremely heavy at ~2.5 kg.
