The Zhongyi Mitakon Speedmaster 35mm f/0.95 II is a manual-focus APS-C lens offering an ultra-fast f/0.95 aperture at a competitive price (around $500–$600). Optically, it delivers excellent center sharpness wide open, good contrast and color, and beautiful bokeh, but suffers from soft corners, some chromatic aberrations, vignetting, and distortion. Build quality is solid all-metal, with a smooth focus ring and a de-clicked aperture ring that may accidentally shift. It excels in low light and for shallow depth-of-field portraits, but is less suited for landscape or architecture due to corner softness.
