The Lensbaby Twist 60 is a lightweight, well-built manual focus lens that recreates the classic Petzval swirly bokeh effect. Optically, it is sharp in the center wide open but suffers from severe vignetting and requires subjects to be centered. Stopped down to f/22, it becomes quite sharp with reduced blur. Handling is simple, but the aperture ring can be hard to grasp when focused close, and it lacks click stops. It suits portrait and fine art photographers seeking a unique, dreamy look, but is not ideal for fast action or low-light due to manual focus challenges.
