    The Computar 8mm f/1.3 TV Lens is a fast wide-angle C-mount prime designed for 16mm film or small sensors. On Micro 4/3, it requires crop mode to avoid vignetting, which severely narrows the field of view. Optical quality is rated average (3/5) with sharpness at fast apertures but soft corners. Build is manual focus, lightweight (138g), and inexpensive (~$30). However, the rear element protrudes dangerously close to the sensor, risking shutter damage, so it is not recommended for mirrorless cameras. Suits only users with compatible small-sensor cameras or those willing to accept severe cropping.
