Overview

The Sigma MF 200mm f/3.5 Telephoto is a compact, lightweight lens that performs well when stopped down to f/5.6 or smaller, delivering sharp results suitable for flowers and close-ups. However, it is very poor wide open, flares significantly, and has a short focus throw that makes precise focusing difficult, especially at f/3.5. Build quality is decent despite light weight, and it can focus very close. It suits users who need an affordable telephoto for stopped-down use or pictorial effects, but not for critical sharpness at maximum aperture.
