200mm · f/4
The Pentacon 200mm f/4 is a vintage East-German telephoto lens with all-metal build and 15 aperture blades, but weighs 600g and lacks a tripod mount. Optically, it offers good resolution at f/8 and smooth bokeh, with nice colors and contrast; however, wide open at f/4 it suffers from low contrast, glow, and chromatic aberrations. It suits budget-conscious photographers who don't mind fully manual operation and can accept its optical limitations, especially on cropped sensors.
