Overview

The Isco-Gottingen Tele-Iscaron 135mm f/2.8 is a solidly built manual focus lens with a long focus throw and uncommon 54mm filter thread. Optically, it delivers impressive sharpness wide open at f/2.8, but shows significant purple fringing in high-contrast areas. Flare resistance was not conclusively tested. It suits photographers who appreciate vintage build quality and are willing to manage chromatic aberration, but may not be ideal for those requiring modern flare control.
