The Soligor 20mm f/2.8 C/D Wide-Auto MC is a compact, well-built manual focus lens, roughly the size of a 50mm f/1.8. Optically, it is surprisingly sharp at f/8 (timo832000) but exhibits noticeable chromatic aberration (hifisapi). Its bokeh can show a soap-bubble effect (justtorchit). The lens is not as good as a Distagon (timo832000) and may feel plasticky in digital images. It suits budget-conscious photographers seeking a compact ultra-wide for stopped-down use, but not those demanding top-tier performance.
