The Rodagon 105mm f/5.6 is a large-format lens designed for the Horseman VCC Pro, offering edge-to-edge high contrast and superior resolution with a 6-element design. It covers up to 6x9 cm, allowing greater movements, and is recommended for 2-10x reproduction. Build features include aperture pre-select, illuminated f/stop display, and click-stop disable. While both Rodenstock and Schneider lenses are broadly excellent, independent tests note that none of the Apo Rodagons are truly apochromatic, and longer N models have a slight resolution advantage. It suits photographers needing perspective control or macro reproduction with a view camera setup.
