    The Walimex Pro 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC (also sold as Samyang/Rokinon/Bower) offers superb optics, sharper at large apertures than Nikon's 35mm f/1.4 AI-s and competitive with Nikon's $1,650 G lens. It is a manual-focus lens with solid build and a large, beefy front cap. Weaknesses include a miscalibrated infinity stop requiring manual focus at infinity and no autofocus.
