Overview

The Schneider-Kreuznach PA-Curtagon 35mm f/4 is a niche shift lens for Leicaflex/Leica-R, with about 5,500 units made. Optically, it has visible barrel distortion that increases with shift, but at f/8-11 it is sharp with low chromatic aberration. The shift ring is easy to accidentally turn when mounting. It suits architectural photographers who can work with 7mm shift and stop-down metering, but may be too long for tight urban spaces.
