    The Pentax P FA 24-90mm f/3.5-4.5 AL SMC is a compact, lightweight standard zoom (355g) designed for full-frame, offering a versatile 24-90mm range and 0.5m close focus. Optically, central sharpness is very good throughout, but edges are only fair at wide angles and improve when zoomed in. Chromatic aberration is noticeable at 24mm edges but correctable; distortion ranges from -2.18% barrel to +2.23% pincushion. Build includes a metal mount, screw-drive AF (noisy but accurate), and a hood with a polarizer window. It lacks weather sealing and QuickShift.
